Vermouth
The Rossi di Montelera Counts – owners of Torre a Cona since 1935 – boast a long and successful entrepreneurial history in the world of Vermouth production.
The business had been started by Luigi, who, after arriving in Turin from the countryside, penniless, became a liqueur expert and a successful businessman. The family passion for winemaking continues today in new forms with the production at Torre a Cona.
In 2022 Niccolò Rossi di Montelera entrusted the selection of the recipe to be recreated from the historic family book to the expert technical guidance of Piero Cane.
The original recipe from 1920 is the soul of this unique Vermouth, where the skilful mix of 33 herbs, Piero Cane’s decades of expertise, and a careful selection of Torre a Cona’s Sangiovese cru enhance a range of extraordinary taste sensations.
The label has been created, manually designed and watercolour painted by the Artist Massimo Tosi.
